Our Projects

BASEMENT GUEST BATH

From concept to construction, this project had a tight schedule and budget. Located below grade, the client wanted a guest bedroom with a luxury full on-suite bathroom. We installed the shower without damaging the concrete floors by utilizing an up-flush drainage system.

KITCHEN REMODEL

To maximize the value of our client's investment peoperty but with limited resources during the Pandemic, Currid Builders developed a detailed report of renovation recommendations based on rental market analysis and included estimated costs for each option. Our collaborative approach allowed the client to repurpose several features and maximize their overall construction budget.

FULL BATHROOM

The existing guest room bath was outdated and the client wanted to modernize this space with a grandmillenial feel for their frequent out-of-town guests. Gutted down to the studs and completely redone with in the existing footprint. Currid Builders scope of work included a custom built bathroom vanity, millwork, marble tile, electric heated flooring, new lighting fixtures, an antique chair and LED lit niches gave this bathroom a bright but classic look that will remain timeless!

POWDER ROOM

The owners of this coastal summer home deperately wanted an updated powder room with less windows and to have heat in the space. The bathroom was gutted down to the studs and the renovation work included baseboard heating, vaulted shiplap ceilings, slate tile floors, a pocket door, and a single window that correctly fit the size of the space. Given the age of the home a major challenge was with the existing plumbing and that this bathroom was built directly on a large piece of ledge. To avoid costly tear-out and excavation, Currid Builders retofitted and installed an in-wall toliet system.

CHILDREN BATHROOM

Located in Amherst, NH this Jack and Jill bathroom was given a complete transformation including custom glass tiled shower and heated flooring. The existing space built in the early 1990's was completely remodeled to create a beautiful new bathroom that will remain timeless as their children become teenagers. To stay within budget the Currid Builders team worked closely with the client to offer comparable alternatives for certain items and strict budget management enabled the client to splurge on a Restoration Hardware linen cabinet, custom millwork and luxury wallpaper.

INVESTMENT PROPERTY

This 100 year old harbor home was transformed from a outdated farm house to a light and airy coastal desination designed for year-round entertainment. Upgrades included a custom exterior spiral staircase, rooftop deck, water filtration system, ductless mini split system and updated bathrooms and kitchen.

MASTER SUITE

Our clients wanted to add extra square footage, but also enhance the functionality and comfort of their private space. With the added amenities, such as a walk-in closet with motion-activated lighting and a spa-like bathroom. Vaulted ceilings, custom skylights, and a first floor enclosed 3-season porch all added value to their property. As the general contractor on this project, Currid Builders provided the client with pre-construction and design services, construction services and interior design services. Project highlights included a luxury shower system with 24" ceiling mounted rainfall experience with six massage jets, heated floors and 33" large format floor tile. A unique challenge for the project was an existing in-ground pool with stamped concrete located only 15' from the active construction site.

SUNROOM

Described as the sunroom that is always uncomfortable to be in, Currid Builders was hired to perform a pre-construction and budget analysis. We quickly discovered that the original 25+ year old windows were failing, the vaulted sheetrock ceiling wasn't properly insulated and the exterior windows and doors lacked flashing. The scope of work included properly replacing all windows and the exterior sliding patio doors, insulating the vaulted ceiling, installing shiplap ceiling with faux beams, herringbone tile, heated flooring and floor to ceiling electric fireplace surrounded by natural stacked quartz.

EXTERIOR DECK

Our client requested pre-construction planning and design services for their exterior deck. They requested that Currid Builders review the structural integrity, determine if any material could be salvaged and re-design the outdoor deck space. Currid Builders provided a detailed report identifying potential issues, planning and scheduling, the scope, cost estimation, and analysis of the job's needs. Due to the job size, Currid Builders managed the scope, schedule and budget while assisting the client with gathering subcontractor bids to identify gaps, provide additional insights and allow them to hire a qualified contractor for the project.
